SUMMER IS READY WHEN YOU ARE OPENING @ CHOCOLATE CROCODILE

Summer is Ready When You Are opened this last weekend at Chocolate Crocodile in North Los Angeles. Chris Wolford and Callie Biggerstaff put together a show based off of the Breeders song "Saints". The two translated the song through either painting (Chris Wolford) or photography (Callie Biggerstaff) line by line in a story board fashion. Chris came thru with solid execution of his layered, mix media style painting while Callies' photography made you feel like you were in a different period of time. Together the two complimented each other well making the show one of a kind. The pictures don't do the work justice so if you didn't get a chance to make it out for the opening be sure to go by there before it comes down. The show will be up until Jan. 20th. If you have some extra money to spend support the artists, the work is more than reasonably priced. Thanks to everyone at Chocolate Crocodile for their enthusiasm and support.
